Cozy Stitchery exists for the moment every maker knows: pattern in one hand, tape measure in the other, wondering how much fabric to buy, how big to cut the blocks, or whether that machine will actually fit a queen quilt through its throat.

We build free calculators and plain, printable-style charts for quilting, sewing, machine embroidery, knitting, crochet, cross stitch and needlepoint. Then, because the right tools make a real difference, we publish researched buying guides that sort machines and gear into Beginner, Intermediate and Expert tiers.

How we research

We do not test products in person, and we will never pretend to. Our guides are compiled from manufacturer specifications and owner manuals, warranty terms, published standards such as the Craft Yarn Council yarn weight system, and the recurring themes in large numbers of verified owner reviews. Where sources disagree, we say so. Where a cheaper option is the better choice, we say that too.
